The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end resultsUtilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issuesEnsure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standardsIntegrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goalsProvide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sourcesInfluence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessaryAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Recommended Qualifications:10+ years of relevant experienceExperience in applications developmentMultiple years of experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.)Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object Oriented Principles using Java or pythonMultiple years of experience with agile and iterative software delivery (SCRUM, Kanban)Exposure to Database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo)Multiple years of experience with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, either on-premise or public cloud (i.e., Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, Cloudbees Jenkins, etc.)Exposure to event-driven design and architecture (i.e., Kafka, Spark Flink, IBM MQ, etc.)Experience in managementExperience managing global technology teamsWorking knowledge of industry practices and standardsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationPreferred QualificationsExposure to architecture experience in building horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applicationsExposure to Cloud infrastructure both on-premise and public cloud (i.e., OpenShift, AWS, etc.)Exposure to API Management toolsExposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (i.e., Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)Exposure to Security, Observability, and Monitoring tools (i.e., Grafana Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership for teams of 5 or more developersExposure to Job Schedulers (i.e. Autosys, Cloudwatch, etc)Experience in finance domain with knowledge in the area of Compliance Risk Management is a plusEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Tampa Florida United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$141,440.00 - $212,160.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
